Encore Wellness is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our Las Vegas team. You will evaluate and treat primarily geriatric patients at our two NV locations, with a schedule from 7:30a to 4:30p, Monday through Friday, no weekends.

We offer competitive pay ($100–$107k annually) and comprehensive benefits. You will document evaluations, progress notes, and home programs while delivering high-quality therapy in outpatient and wellness services.

Formación

• Graduate of an APTA-approved Physical Therapy program.
• CPR certification (BLS) and NV Physical Therapy license or license eligible.
• Minimum of two years experience treating in outpatient clinic.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform an effective evaluation by assessing ROM, strength, sensation and gait.
• Identify problems and set realistic goals for the patient.
• Demonstrate knowledge of modalities and indications/contraindications.
• Use exercise programming to improve ROM, strength, and functional status.
• Work with geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, or medical problems.
• Maintain accurate records: initial evaluation, progress notes, home programs.
• Maintain good patient relations; adjust communications to patient needs.
• Utilize time management and PT Aide to meet productivity needs.

This role will support our two locations in Nevada, with a schedule of 7:30a – 4:30p.

- Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 3041 E. Flamingo Road, Ste B | Las Vegas, NV 89121

- Tuesday & Thursday at 7440 W. Cheyenne Ave., #104 | Las Vegas, NV 89129

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating primarily geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, and medical problems. They are also responsible for completing the required documentation, including an initial evaluation, daily progress notes, physician progress notes, home exercise programs, and billing information.

What you do:

- Performs an effective evaluation by accurately assessing ROM, strength, sensation, and functional status, including gait

- Identifies problems that can be addressed with treatment and sets realistic goals for the patient

- Demonstrates good working knowledge of modalities, including indications and contraindications for use

- Utilizes your knowledge of exercise programming as a strategy to provide appropriate improvement of ROM, strength, functional status, and decreasing pain

- Capable of working with geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, or medical problems

- Keeps accurate, up-to-date records in patient's chart, including initial evaluation, daily progress notes, physician progress reports, and home programs

- Routinely exhibits good patient relations skills

- Ability to provide exceptional communications by adjusting approach or tone as needed based upon patient needs

- Ability to use time management and effective use of a PT Aide to meet or exceed productivity needs

What you know:

- Graduate of APTA-approved Physical Therapy program, or equivalent.

- CPR certification (BLS), NV Physical Therapy license or license eligible, National Provider Identifier (NPI) number

- Minimum of two years experience treating in an outpatient clinic
