Overview

Position: Full time physical therapist outpatient

Location: NovaCare Eldersburg Maryland

Specialties: Orthopedics, sports, neuro, vestibular, concussion, oncology, industrial, dry needling, and more.

Salary: $80,000/yr - $100,000/yr

Bonus: Up to $10,000 and/ or indefinite loan help

New Grad PTs are WELCOME and we offer a defined onsite mentorship.

NovaCare Eldersburg is one of our Sports Centers of Excellence giving a sports medicine focused clinician the opportunity to work alongside of sports specialty certified PTs within a properly equipped center to support our local sports contracts. Your caseload would not be 100% sports and will include additional specialties such as; vestibular, neurology, concussion, oncology, industrial (POETs), dry needling and fall prevention on top of general orthopedics. A specialty focus is available in combination with ortho.

Schedule: Full time (32-40 hours) treating weekdays with two evenings until 7PM. Last patient is scheduled an hour prior.

Responsibilities
  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
  • Valid State Physical Therapist License
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
