Physical Therapist (OP Neuro Adult and/or Peds)

SUNY Upstate Medical University is currently accepting applications for Physical Therapist opportunities in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Rehab Therapies. Openings available to provide outpatient evaluations and treatments to adult and or pediatric clients with neurological issues. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, formulating specific treatment goals, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other health care providers and families. Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences. Participate in educational programs for staff, students, volunteers, and other professional health care personnel. Participate in training for new staff. Serve as a clinical instructor for students. Facilitate new program development.

Qualifications: NYS licensed & registered Physical Therapist, degree required for licensure, and two years of experience required. Candidates who possess degree required for licensure, NYS PT license/registration or eligible (but must receive license in 1 year) and less than 2 years experience will be considered for appointment to an entry-level (SL2) position at commensurate salary. CPR-BLS certification required at time of appointment.
