Medcor is currently looking for a full-time Physical Therapist in our employer-based clinic in Moline, IL. This is a Monday-Friday day shift schedule. The work environment focuses on occupational health and acute/episodic care. The role of the Physical Therapist is to help restore patients' functions, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.

The compensation for this position is $51.00-$57.00/hour based on relevant work experience. Relocation assistance is offered for candidates out of state.

A typical day in the life of a Medcor Physical Therapist:

1. Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
2. Help patients accomplish treatment plans and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting in physical activities and use of assistive devices.
3. Administer physical therapy treatments such as massages, traction, physical agents, hydrotherapy, moist packs, lamps, ultrasound, and supervise treatments given by aides and technicians.
4. Evaluate effects of treatments and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending adjustments as needed.
5. Complete discharge planning and contribute to patient care conferences.
6. Design home exercise programs and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
7. Document patient care services accurately in records.
8. Maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe, clean, and infection-controlled environment.
9. Ensure equipment operation and perform preventive maintenance.
10. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
11. Develop staff through training and in-service programs.
12. Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
13. Contribute to team efforts and related results.

You Must:

• Be a Certified Physical Therapist
• Have a positive and outgoing personality

• Have strong computer and technology skills
• Be comfortable working in a work-site clinic environment
