Scismic supports a health company founded in 2008, focusing on patient-centered care in Home Health, Palliative Care, and Hospice services. With over 121 locations across 18 states, they aim to provide compassionate healthcare in the home.

They are seeking Physical Therapists to join their Oklahoma team in Stillwater, McAlester, or Tulsa. All positions are Monday through Friday, 8-5 pm.

Job Summary:

A registered professional providing coordinated care to patients of all ages, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to maintain well-being. Organizes and conducts physical therapy treatments based on medical referrals and evaluations, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
  • Licensure: Current Oklahoma State License as a Physical Therapist and a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
  • Experience: At least two years as a Physical Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Standard therapy practices, interpersonal skills, knowledge of durable medical equipment.
  • Transportation: Reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
Essential Functions:
  • Perform clinical assessments, identify patient needs, and determine appropriateness of care.
  • Document and revise care plans, progress notes, and clinical records.
  • Oversee and collaborate with team members to deliver patient care aligned with patient needs and preferences.
  • Apply infection control practices and standard precautions.
  • Accept clinical assignments appropriate to your education and competence.
  • Plan and deliver treatments for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on referrals and assessments.
  • Meet continuing education requirements.
  • Instruct patients and families on transfer techniques and equipment use, ensuring safety.
  • Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Promote the agency's philosophy and policies.
  • Demonstrate professional growth and competency.
