Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Physical Therapist at the North Fargo Clinic to evaluate, plan and treat patients according to professional standards. You will manage a full caseload, document care, bill and schedule, while educating patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities include discharge planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and potential teaching roles. The clinic operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state where services are performed.
• Education from an accredited physical therapy program as listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, treats and implements care for patients per professional standards and Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Provides therapy evaluation, treatment planning, treatment and discharge planning for a full caseload.
• Maintains documentation, billing, scheduling and other administrative duties for patients.
• Communicates professionally with patients, caregivers and staff; supervises licensed assistants and aides as needed.
• Works across departments to meet patient needs when home department schedule allows.
• Provides staff education and participates in committees or credentialing activities.
