The Physical Therapist (PT) position involves examining, evaluating, and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological, developmental impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or other health and movement-related conditions to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan. The PT is responsible for designing, implementing, and modifying treatment interventions to alleviate impairments and disabilities, reduce injury risk, and promote health and wellness across all ages. Additional duties include administration, consultation, education, and research. Professional behavior, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, responsibility, professionalism, effective time and resource management, stress management, and a commitment to learning are essential attributes for success.
