Duke Raleigh Hospital is seeking a dedicated physical therapist to provide compassionate care in outpatient services and community outreach. Candidates must be dual credentialed in physical therapy and athletic training or board certified in sports. This role includes working with patients to improve their physical health and participating in community events.

Pursue your passion for caring with the Duke Raleigh Campus in Raleigh, North Carolina, which has been part of Duke Health since 1998 and has served Wake County for more than 35 years. Duke Raleigh Campus features 204 inpatient beds and offers a comprehensive array of services, including cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience, advanced gastrointestinal, and wound healing care.
Duke Raleigh Hospital is currently seeking applicants for an open physical therapy position, to be filled by candidates dual credentialed in physical therapy and athletic training or those who are board certified in sports. New hires will work a 40-hour week, including 25-30 hours of outpatient physical therapy services and 10-15 hours of high school/community outreach, including sport event coverage in surrounding communities. Weekend PRN coverage is encouraged. Applicants must be eligible for a North Carolina physical therapy license and be a certified/licensed athletic trainer or board certified in sports.
Provide physical therapy services addressing impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical health due to injury or disease; include prevention and wellness services such as screenings and health promotion. Serve as a resource for the team, participate in orientation and teaching activities, and work within North Carolina state law.
Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and transfer patients.
ABPTS Board Certified in Sports (SCS) and/or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
Education: Bachelor's degree or certification in physical therapy; Master's or Clinical Doctorate preferred.
Experience: None beyond required education; more experience may be preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
