Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, perform interventions to improve patient well-being, and monitor progress.
• Evaluate patients' functional status and assist physicians in developing therapy plans.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any condition changes to the healthcare team.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore or develop function, and maintain maximum functioning according to standards of practice.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members about the care plan, functional limitations, and progress.

Education and Experience

Licensure Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license in Florida
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
