Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a licensed/registered position in Northport, Alabama. This is a contract role with scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation. Candidates must hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, current Alabama license, and experience in geriatric and neurological care. This role requires physical presence onsite. The position guarantees 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of physical therapy experience or 18 months with specialty experience.
• Current Alabama Physical Therapist License is required.
• Certification in AHA BLS and Red Cross is mandatory.

Job Summary

Physical Therapist - Licensed/Registered.

Talented Medical Solutions – Contract position.

In-Office | Northport, AL, United States.

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

One weekend per month required. Holidays as required.

Patient load: 6 patients per day, inpatient and acute units. Must float across units.

Responsibilities: Responsible to complete all aspects of care for assigned patient load including evaluations, formulating plan of care, collaboration of care plans with patient/family/other disciplines, performing therapeutic interventions, education, and meeting all documentation requirements outlined in department. Geriatric, neurological, stroke and amputation patients.

Certifications – Required

• AHA BLS
• Red Cross

Licenses – Required

• Current Alabama Physical Therapist License
• Maintains active status with license in good standing with the state board or licensing agency.
• Preferred along with PT, OT and SLP licenses.

Experience - Required

• 2 years’ experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.

• Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
