HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Rehab unit. This full-time, day-shift position focuses on assessing patients, creating personalized therapy plans, and guiding mobility restoration after illness or surgery.

You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful patient outcomes. You will lead evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans, and document outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding hospital values.
