Job Summary and Qualifications

We operate a 15-bed Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Unit ranked in the Top 10% nationally for care, awarded the IHX Guardian of Excellence. As an Inpatient Rehab PT, you'll be part of a collaborative team making a real difference in patients' lives.

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Document treatments accurately and in compliance with standards.
  • Help patients achieve maximum performance and independence.
  • Supervise students and assistants in patient care.
  • Engage in departmental quality improvement and program development.
  • Develop home programs and train families.
  • Stay updated on physical therapy trends and incorporate new procedures as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Utah PT license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from Red Cross or AHA.
  • At least one year of inpatient rehab experience preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient settings is a plus, but new grads are welcome.
  • Comfort with orthopedic diagnoses and treating all adult age groups.
