The Physical Therapist is responsible for the ethical, cost-effective management, delivery, documentation, communication, and outcomes of professional physical therapy services, in accordance with an established plan of care and all applicable licensure and certification requirements, laws, policies, and procedures.
This role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals based on patient contact level.

Potential hazards include exposure to infections, chemicals, sharp equipment, and risk of injury from lifting or workplace violence. Proper safety precautions must be followed.
Work may involve exposure to heat, noise, odors, chemicals, and high case loads. Flexibility to float to other units, work weekends, or on call may be required. Daily use of rehab equipment, exposure to pool chemicals, and outdoor conditions during community evaluations are expected.
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapy program, hold or be eligible for an Oklahoma license, and have completed licensure within three months of the initial temporary license. BLS or CPR certification is required upon hire or within 30 days. Relevant experience is preferred, and effective communication in English is necessary.
