Join us as a Physical Therapist - Inpatient PRN at Specialists Hospital Shreveport

We are seeking a licensed, PRN Physical Therapist to join our team providing inpatient services in the Shreveport area. Specialists Hospital Shreveport offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of clinicians committed to delivering quality care. Our caseload primarily includes orthopedic cases, addressing both chronic and acute conditions, as well as post-operative care for the spine and extremities. The position involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform physical therapy evaluations, develop appropriate care plans, and implement treatments to maximize patient function.
• Collaborate effectively with PTAs and supervise PT technicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, in compliance with hospital and state guidelines.
• Build and sustain relationships with referring physicians and communicate about patient care as necessary.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with patients to promote successful therapy outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active physical therapy license in Louisiana.
• Current BLS certification with AED.
