Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for PRN weekend shifts to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment plans addressing a variety of patient diagnoses in northern Illinois. You will collaborate with the care team, document thoroughly, and contribute to cost-saving and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed as a physical therapist in WI, IL or both if required.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
• Utilizes exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
• Maintains a thorough electronic record of services with appropriate coding and billing.
• Communicates with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
• Participates in PI and CQI processes and mentors new partners.
• Plans and conducts lectures and training programs for medical staff, students and community groups.

Education
