Concord Hospital Health System in Laconia, NH is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to perform patient evaluations and provide treatments. This role supports patients of all ages while adapting to varied work schedules, including weekend and holiday shifts. A New Hampshire license and Basic Life Support certification are required, with new graduates considered.
The candidate should have experience in interdisciplinary settings, demonstrating personal adaptability and a commitment to patient care. The physical demands include lifting and various movements, requiring regular exposure to challenging conditions.
The Physical Therapist Inpatient Per Diem is responsible for conducting patient evaluations and providing treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures, serving patients of all ages and health populations. This role may also involve participation in indirect patient care activities as needed. All per diem staff members are expected to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month, in addition to any scheduled weekdays. Additionally, per diem staff are required to assist with holiday coverage. Under certain circumstances, staff may be asked to cover additional or alternative shifts. While employees are primarily assigned to a specific site, there is an expectation of flexibility to provide coverage at other Concord Hospital sites when necessary.
Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program and passed the national certification board.
Required: State of NH Physical Therapy license—active and in good standing; American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent course.
Requires experience working with an interdisciplinary team, providers, patients and their families. New graduates considered.
