Job description

Our client, a 100+ bed hospital located about 45 mins from Raleigh, NC, has a need for a Physical Therapist to join their team. Candidates must be willing to perform all physical therapy duties in both inpatient (about 60%) and outpatient settings.

Position Summary:

The hospital is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to work the Day Shift in our Clinic. The Full-Time PT will:

  • Be responsible for outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
  • Administer treatment plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Document, in a timely manner, all patient related information and ensure that patients are charged correctly per departmental and insurance carrier guidelines.
  • Participate in departmental operational activities such as the budget, clinical quality, clinical education, infection control, departmental safety and team building programs.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Doctoral degree is preferred


License

  • North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Licensure is required.


Certifications

  • American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
