This position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus**. Current employees and recent former employees (terminated within the last year) are not eligible for this bonus.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist IHR reflects NM's mission, vision, and values, adhering to the Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance, and all relevant standards. This is a flat rate position.

Responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrating NM's core values in daily interactions.
  • Providing professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  • Offering accurate information and timely updates to patients and staff.
  • Using effective service recovery skills.
  • Maintaining responsibility over patient care plans and collaborating with PT/PTA teams.
  • Participating in team efforts, communicating effectively, and respecting diverse opinions.
  • Managing work schedules efficiently and contributing to process improvements.
  • Performing evaluations, re-evaluations, and documentation according to department guidelines.
  • Providing patient education tailored to individual understanding.
  • Engaging in departmental committees, projects, and educational activities.
  • Building professional relationships within healthcare teams and participating in marketing efforts.
  • Fostering respectful communication and accepting constructive feedback.
  • Completing non-patient responsibilities timely and participating in student training programs.
  • Maintaining productivity and flexibility to meet department needs.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred:

  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
