Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to help patients recover and restore daily activities. You will work with a supportive team to provide high-quality care.

You will evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based PT programs, emphasizing vestibular, balance, neurological, and orthopedic rehab to optimize outcomes for diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Accredited PT program graduate.
• Up-to-date Florida PT license.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Must be passionate about helping patients with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk issues.
• Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient orthopedic, neurological, and balance/vestibular rehab settings.
• Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Prefer at least one year in outpatient neurological or orthopedic center, or vestibular rehab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform new-patient evaluations/exams.
• Diagnose patients and evaluate activity limitations.
• Create a plan with goals and completion date.
• Provide PT interventions and track progress.
• Educate patients on continuation of care techniques.
• Establish diagnoses and impact on activity.
• Establish plan goals and time frames.
• Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises.
• Measure and track intervention effectiveness.
