Job description

Come Join Our Team!

Body One Physical Therapy is expanding its team with full-time and part-time therapists who want to build their practice on the northside of Indianapolis. Body One is a family-owned physical therapy private practice with three offices in Fishers, Indianapolis, and Zionsville. We provide unmatched, personalized health and wellness services to our clients in an outpatient physical therapy setting. At Body One, every patient and employee interaction is an opportunity to help that person reach their goals. With a focus on personal and professional growth, Body One Physical Therapy is seeking team members who have a vision for teamwork and success.

Body One is home to the only Physical Therapy Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Residency program in Central Indiana, working in conjunction with UIndy to provide newly graduated physical therapists with hands-on experience, continuing education, and exposure to experts in specific treatment modalities. We’re committed to the growth and success of all team members and offer continuing education opportunities, mentorship, weekly company feedback, and more.

What We’re Looking For:

We have an immediate opportunity to expand our team with Licensed Physical Therapists who can join the existing team at our Body One North Meridian clinic. We are seeking a caring, compassionate provider who will embrace our patient-first culture, work with us to develop and promote their own niche practice, and deliver the care we’re known for in the outpatient private practice setting.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (or commensurate)
  • Post-doctorate clinical experience
  • Current, unrestricted Indiana State licensure

Physical Therapist Job Duties:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, individualized outpatient physical therapy programs designed to reduce pain and discomfort and assist patients with recovery from injury and/or return to activities. This is done through:
    • Review of physician referrals and notes regarding the patient’s condition.
    • Perform initial evaluation for treatment, making associated recommendations based on exam findings, including potential referral for further specialty diagnosis.
    • Design and execute customized plans of care to achieve optimal outcomes based on the patient’s medical needs, goals, and ability to restore function.
    • Support treatment with timely documentation utilizing EMR software.
    • Provide patients with necessary education on conditions, expectations, limitations, HEP, etc.
    • Coordinate with other providers (PT and PTA) to deliver appropriate care.
    • Establish discharge guidelines including follow-up recommendations.
  • Share your passion for high-quality care through active participation as a peer, mentor, and instructor in specific areas of expertise within the Body One Residency Program.
  • Partner with our Marketing Director to develop and advance your own niche practice, forge strong relationships with referral sources, and contribute clinical expertise to our overall marketing plan.

Benefits:

Body One offers competitive pay and a professional, family-oriented working environment. This is a professional position which can be adapted to a full-time or part-time interested candidate. This position includes a base salary and quarterly bonus program based on both clinic and individual performance. In addition, Body One offers the following benefits: medical, dental, vision and life insurances, retirement savings with company match, short & long-term disability, EAP, etc., as well as paid holidays and paid time off. (Benefits availability varies with scheduled hours commitment)
