At Doctors of Physical Therapy, our Physical Therapists are the heart of our clinics. We are looking for a PRN Physical Therapist interested in traveling across Illinois for coverage. This position will uphold our excellent patient care standards with one-on-one treatments and contribute to our welcoming, collaborative culture. We welcome new graduates and those seeking part-time/PRN work.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide coverage as needed for DPT clinics in Illinois.
  2. Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards.
  3. Develop comprehensive care plans based on evaluation findings.
  4. Understand reimbursement standards and design clinically effective patient programs.
  5. Maintain compliance by:
  • Developing short and long-term patient goals.
  • Implementing care plans.
  • Providing therapy to improve well-being and functionality.
  • Reporting patient progress to relevant professionals.
  • Creating home exercise plans.
  • Planning and executing patient discharges.
  • Stay updated with current physical therapy practices through education and workshops.
  • Communicate professionally with healthcare stakeholders, including other health professionals, insurance companies, and case managers.
