Qualifications

• Current Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized school of physical therapy, or completion of a Physical Therapy program and one year relevant experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, the Physical Therapist evaluates, develops, implements, and progresses individualized treatment plans for patients receiving outpatient rehabilitation services.
• Performs comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, establishing functional goals, providing evidence-based interventions, monitoring patient progress, and modifying plans of care as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education to promote independence and long-term success while ensuring safe, high-quality care.
• Collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and administrative staff to coordinate patient-centered care and optimize access to rehabilitation services.
• May participate in quality improvement initiatives, assist with program development, contribute to departmental projects, and provide clinical instruction and mentorship to physical therapy students as assigned.
