UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Physical Therapist II to join the Rex Inpatient Rehab Services in an acute care setting. This Friday–Monday weekend role supports patient care and weekend operations.

Join our Rex Inpatient Rehab Services team as a Physical Therapist II in our acute care setting. This Friday–Monday position plays a vital role in supporting our weekend operations and ensuring exceptional patient care.
In this role, you’ll help coordinate weekend scheduling across occupational, physical, and speech therapy; support patient throughput; collaborate closely with teammates; and provide high-quality, hands‑on patient care.

The Physical Therapist II is a clinical specialist and subject matter expert in the diagnosis and intervention management of patients with various diagnoses, disabilities, and impairments affecting multiple body regions, structures, systems, functional mobility, and activity participation. Employees in this classification provide evidence-based evaluation, consultation, and skilled treatment and instruction to patients and caregivers. The clinician participates in annual continuing education and provides departmental and organizational teaching to enhance personal and peer knowledge of evidence-based practice.
