Job Description

Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility (CF), the Physical Therapist I, CF administers physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.

Compensation and Benefits

• Classification subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization of the California State Civil Service Pay Scales. Authorized HAM rate: $6,876.
• Effective July 1, 2025, for the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025): base salary reduced by 3%; receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027.
