The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Physical Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a full time Physical Therapist 1 to work in Doral, FL. The Physical Therapist I provides physical therapy and wellness services to patients who have impairments or functional changes due to injury or disease.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, document daily interactions, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in relevant field.
• FL Physical Therapy license active.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates new patients and creates goals and treatment plans.
• Documents all evaluations and treatments daily.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and home activities.
• Communicates with physicians for information and revisions.
• Uses treatment tools safely and effectively.
• Maintains productivity and adapts to clinic needs.
• Participates in quality and safety activities.
• Orients and directs assistants and support staff.
