The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist specialized in Acute-Care to join our dedicated team in Baltimore. You will evaluate, plan and treat patients referred to Physical Therapy, and document care while educating patients, families, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities include contributing to clinical research and education, advancing professional growth, and helping patients achieve maximum potential through quality care within our Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
• Experience in Hospital acute care setting.
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Position Summary

Physical Therapist specializing in Acute-Care:

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy
• Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students
• To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education
• Ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development contribution to the Medical Center

Shift

• full-time - 40 hours per week
• Day shift - Monday - Friday
• Some weekends and Holidays

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic program.
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
• Experience in Hospital acute care setting.
• Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Salary Range

Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
