Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine outpatient Physical Therapy team seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, document care, and educate patients, families, hospital staff, and students within a leading health system.

The role emphasizes collaboration, quality patient care, and contribution to medical management while supporting clinical research and ongoing professional growth at the Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy earned prior to January 1, 2015, from accredited programs, with current licensure, may be accepted based on historical requirements.
• Master's Degree Physical Therapy earned prior to January 1, 2015, from accredited programs, with current licensure, may be accepted based on historical requirements.
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy.
• Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.
• Participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education.
• Ensure that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development contribution to the Medical Center.

The Physical Therapist Outpatient:

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy

Salary Range:

• Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
