Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist II provides direct patient and family centered care while under the direction of the Rehabilitation Leadership Team. This includes evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning based on functional needs. Works with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and adjust treatment plan as necessary. May participate in department-wide process improvement initiatives and program development.

Pay Range

Minimum $44.82 Midpoint $59.39 Maximum $73.95

Experience

  • Required : Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience.
  • Preferred : Clinical Affiliation in Pediatrics.

Education

  • Required : Completion of accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in related field.

Specialized Skills

  • Required : Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job. Attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration. Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

Licensure

  • Required : Basic Life Support (BLS); CA Occupational Therapy licensure.

Work Environments - Functional Demand :

Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push / pull + / - 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .
