Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for home health visits in Essex County. This full-time role involves providing rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes.

Requirements:

• At least one year of recent clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Current New Jersey PT license.
• Graduation from an APTA-approved program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform home visits and diagnostic tests, including mobility, strength, balance, and safety assessments.
2. Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
3. Develop and revise individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises and gait training.
4. Collaborate with nursing staff within a multidisciplinary team.
5. Educate clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
6. Accurately document care using electronic devices.
