Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

Location: Gaithersburg, MD (Part-time, home health visits)

Overview: BAYADA is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide home health services to adult and geriatric clients in Montgomery County, MD. This role involves making home visits, performing assessments, developing care plans, and educating clients and their families.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct home visits within designated territories.
2. Perform diagnostic tests such as mobility, strength, and balance assessments.
3. Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
4. Develop and revise individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises and gait training.
5. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and document care activities accurately.
6. Educate clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience as a PT.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
