Salary Range: $34.50 - $57.00
Job Summary: Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent deformities. Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Documents client information, establishes and modifies therapeutic plans, and educates clients and their families about treatment and self-care. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related treatments and incorporates current research into daily practice. May treat individuals of all ages with various diagnoses, ensuring documentation complies with guidelines and regulations. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, may supervise assistants, aides, and students, and provides ongoing education. Responsibilities may focus on post-acute, long-term, and home health care environments based on facility needs.
Qualifications: Appropriate education level per state licensure, valid license in practice state(s), valid driver’s license if applicable, and required competencies and certifications, including BLS within first 60 days.
