MedStar Health is seeking a PT (Physical Therapy) Homecare Clinician PV (Per Visit) to join our team! As a PT Homecare Clinician PV, you will evaluate and treat patients in accordance with agency standards, applicable laws, and regulations in Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia.

Primary Duties:
  1. Analyze and document patients' and families' responses to interventions, evaluate progress, and revise care plans accordingly.
  2. Identify and modify factors impeding progress, and recommend updates to care plans based on interventions and available resources.
  3. Establish and document teaching plans for patients and families, communicating effectively and respecting their needs.
  4. Implement and modify physical therapy treatment plans collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams.
  5. Perform assessments such as interviews, observations, palpation, goniometry, muscle strength, and sensory testing using appropriate tools.
  6. Independently implement and document care plans for routine to complex cases, utilizing agency and community resources.
  7. Maintain clinical records, submit reports promptly, and manage caseload effectively.
  8. Participate in case conferences, community outreach, and ongoing educational activities.
  9. Conduct patient assessments to determine habilitation/rehabilitation needs, recommend equipment or home modifications, and plan discharges.
  10. Perform procedures including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and modalities like ultrasound.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience.
  • License to practice in Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver’s license and dependable vehicle.

This position offers a salary range of $72,758 - $130,041.
