Mass General Brigham is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to assist patients in their homes, interpreting evaluations and developing plans of care to restore physical functioning. Full-time role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Responsibilities include documenting goals, teaching family and patients, coordinating with nursing staff, supervising PTAs, and participating in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
  • Mass-licensed Physical Therapist is required; licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Internship/apprenticeship experience 1–2 years preferred.

  • Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
  • Evaluates effects of treatment and adjusts plans to maximize benefit.
  • Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
  • Provides in-service education for nursing personnel as needed.
  • Identifies goals and plans for reevaluation with patient and family.
  • Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with patient and family.
  • Supervises PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
  • Participates in hospital-wide quality process improvement.
