UPMC Home Health is hiring a full-time homecare Physical Therapist to support the Greentree, Crafton, McKees Rocks, Carnegie, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties aligned with UPMC's service philosophy, developing professional skills through ongoing education.
  • Participate in on-call coverage rotation.
  • Supervise the Physical Therapy Assistant according to state guidelines.
  • Consult with families, interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and other professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Complete documentation promptly, including visit assessments, OASIS, 485, and verbal orders, using the laptop or in written form.
  • Establish and follow the plan of care in collaboration with the physician, patient, and UM professional.
  • Evaluate, plan, and treat patients using diagnostic and functional testing within professional standards, recommending DME when needed.
  • Meet educational and licensure requirements as specified, with at least one year of clinical experience.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR
  • Driver's License
  • Physical Therapist license
  • Act 33 and Act 34 clearances
  • OAPSA clearance
