Job summary

Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our on-site team in Waterbury, CT. You will provide high-quality rehabilitation services, helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries and regain independence.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning and implementing therapy programs, and coordinating with families and healthcare teams. CT licensure and a PT degree are required; a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum 0 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with varying conditions and diagnoses.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations, including assessment of physical function, range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Develop and modify treatment plans to address patient goals and objectives.
• Implement and supervise physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and strengthening programs.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and progress.
