Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Physical Therapist at Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Your expertise will enable our patients to recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, and return to their daily lives with confidence and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with varying conditions and diagnoses

  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations, including assessment of physical function, range of motion, strength, and mobility

  • Develop and modify treatment plans to address patient goals and objectives

  • Implement and supervise physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and strengthening programs

  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care coordination

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and progress

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut

  • Minimum 0 years of experience in a similar setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
