Job summary

Mercy in Cincinnati seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adults and elderly patients. You will supervise patients and rehab staff under Therapy Leadership, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards and mission.

Applicants should hold a PT degree (B.S./M.S./DPT) and be licensed or in temporary practice in the state. BLS certification is required, with 6–12 months of rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified; certifications current before independent patient care.
• Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy preferred.
• Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Work in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
