Employment Details

Type: Full time

Shift: Includes 2 nights a week

Description: Position based out of St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.

Responsibilities
  • Provides supervision for Physical Therapy Assistants, PMR technicians, students, and volunteers as required.
  • Maintains a safe and orderly environment for patients and staff.
  • Adheres to the code of ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Practice Act of Pennsylvania.
  • Develops comprehensive care plans and provides treatment to achieve functional goals.
  • Manages patient care delivery responsibly.
  • Interprets clinical data for treatment planning.
  • Prioritizes and organizes work, adjusting as needed.
  • Assesses and modifies approaches based on patient age, cultural background, and developmental level.
  • Acts as a patient advocate, upholding patients’ rights.
  • Participates in program development under supervision.
  • Performs as a clinical instructor when required.
  • Collaborates with physicians and team members on treatment plans.
  • Involves patients and families in goal setting and treatment planning.
  • Participates in team training and education.
  • Incorporates education into patient care, tailoring it to individual needs.
  • Engages in continuing education to stay current with research and credentialing requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current State PT license
