Job summary

Mercy Health Center is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess patients and design individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric clients. You will supervise patients and rehab technicians, with general oversight of PT assistants in line with the Oklahoma Practice Act.

Current Oklahoma PT license or eligibility is required, with a Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy. BLS certification is mandatory, and 6 months to 1 year of rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy or registry eligible.
• Licensure: Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy.
• Six months to one year experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification required; current before caring for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Oklahoma Practice Act.
• Perform duties aligned with Mercy's mission, values and service standards.

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Oklahama Practice Act.
