Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess patients and develop personalized therapy plans for adults and geriatrics. You will supervise patients and support rehabilitation staff under Therapy Leadership, ensuring care aligns with Mercy values.

Applicants must hold a current Physical Therapy license in the state and be BLS certified. Preference for 6–12 months' experience with adult/geriatric populations; Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and growth

Formación

• Current state license of Physical Therapy must be active.
• Licensure must be current or temporary in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required and current before independent patient care.
• Six months to one year experience preferred for rehabilitation therapy.

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

1. Education: Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
2. Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
3. Experience: Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
4. Other:Preferred Education:Preferred Licensure:Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.Preferred Certifications:Preferred Other:

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
