We are comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center and advanced wound care center. Job Summary

Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s): Required
  2. Master's Degree: Preferred
  3. Doctorate Degree: Preferred
  4. Two years' Physical Therapy experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  1. Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
  2. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
  3. Physical Therapist (PT): Required

Essential Functions

  1. Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
  2. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
  3. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
  4. Supervises assigned assistants.
  5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
