Physical Therapist - Full Time

We are seeking an energetic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in Owens Cross Roads, AL.

Setting: SNF

Location: South Hampton

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality physical therapy services and assist in departmental operations.
  • Organize and render physical therapy treatments for patients.
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical and functional status and plan therapy programs accordingly.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using exercises, massage, thermal agents, water, light, and electrical modalities.
  • Utilize diagnostic and prognostic tests for muscles, nerves, joints, and functional abilities.
  • Supervise and train supportive personnel, including technicians and assistants.
  • Maintain a safe and clean department environment.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed by the Alabama State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Preferably one year of experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • COVID vaccination preferred, with exemptions considered.
Physical Demands:

Work involves medium physical effort, including lifting up to 50 pounds unaided, and over 50 pounds with assistance, along with stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and handling equipment and patients. Good visual and auditory acuity required.

Demonstrates knowledge and manual skills for quality patient care, effective communication, problem-solving, supervision, and professional reliability.
