Job summary

Select Medical Rehabilitation - Pensacola is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position. The role involves performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and supervising PTAs and students within our acute rehabilitation unit.

We offer a $38.64–$52.00 hourly range based on experience, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. New graduates are encouraged to apply and we provide extensive orientation, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, PT and PTA students.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
