Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. You will organize and conduct prescribed therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability, using exercise, massage, heat, and other modalities.

The role requires a DPT/MS/BS in PT and a current Physical Therapist License plus BLS certification; clinical experience is preferred. You will assess progress and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/MS/DPT required or equivalent qualification.
• Licenses and Certifications: Physical Therapist License and BLS certification.
• Clinical experience in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability.
• Plans therapy involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, etc.
• Utilizes various mechanical and electrical equipment and prosthetic/orthotic devices.
• Evaluates, records and reports on patient’s progress.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, M.S. in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Clinical experience in physical therapy

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Physical Therapist License.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
