Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA.
  • Active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license required to start the position.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in high-volume outpatient settings or multidisciplinary clinics preferred.
  • Comfortable managing a patient load of approximately 18–20 patients per day and maintaining productivity of 1.8–2.2 patients per hour.
  • Experience working with support staff such as full‑time aides preferred.
  • New graduate candidates are eligible and supported through a 13‑week mentorship program for clinicians with 0–2 years experience.

Job description

Clinic & Schedule Details
  • Typical schedule options include M/W/F 8:00 AM–6:00 PM or 9:00 AM–7:00 PM and T/Th 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.
  • Some clinics offer a 4x10 schedule.
  • Rotating Saturdays occur about once per month at most clinics.
  • Average daily patient census 18–20.
  • Productivity target 1.8–2.2 patients/hour, with higher throughput during peak times.
  • Multidisciplinary clinic environment with services such as chiropractic, occupational therapy, and acupuncture; physical therapy is primary focus.
  • Full‑time aide support typically available (staffing varies by clinic size).

Interview / Hiring Process
