Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a full-time Physical Therapist in Lexington, VA to help patients move better, feel better and stay active across care settings.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans and document progress for geriatric and post-acute populations, with day shift assignments. A Virginia license and BLS are required or preferred, with competitive compensation and available benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Degree in physical therapy (Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral).
• BLS certification may be required.
• Experience in geriatric or post-acute populations preferred.
• Proven ability to evaluate, plan and document treatment.
• Day shift schedule as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function.
• Document patient progress and coordinate with care teams.

Job description

We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role with one of our area clients. You’ll help patients move better, feel better, and stay active—whether they’re recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license required to start the position.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with evaluation, development of treatment plans, and documentation for geriatric and post-acute populations.
• Ability to work day shift schedule as assigned.
