Job summary

North Country Healthcare (NCH) is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across orthopedic, neurological, and complex-medical diagnoses. The role focuses on restoring strength, ROM, and endurance using therapeutic exercise and modalities.

The position is outpatient-based in Gorham, NH, with requirements for licensure and a PT degree. The incumbent may float to additional facilities up to two days weekly to support system coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Must hold a current NH Physical Therapy license.
• Prior outpatient PT experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other conditions to improve strength, ROM, endurance and overall function.
• Utilize therapeutic exercise and modalities to advance patient outcomes.
• Outpatient PT for the North Country Healthcare system, with potential to float to other Gorham-area facilities at least 2 days per week.

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Job description

This position is eligible for a commencement bonus of $10,00.00, with 50% payable at or around the hire date and the remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.

Job Summary

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, complex-medical, and other diagnoses that affect a person’s strength, range of motion, endurance, and overall function. The Staff Physical Therapist will utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to achieve the highest level of function possible. Outpatient Physical Therapist for the NCH system that would be working out of the Gorham outpatient clinic but would be willing to float to other facilities at least 2 days per week.

Essential Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program and hold minimally a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Must hold a current and valid Physical Therapy practice license granted from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $42.29/hr - $52.87/hr - $57.10/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
