Jackson Therapy Partners is recruiting a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient orthopedics clinic in Frederick, MD. You will help patients move better, feel better, and stay active—whether recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions.

The position requires Maryland PT licensure and a PT degree. Typical sessions are 30–40 minutes, with two evening shifts weekly and patients aged 10+. New grads welcome; no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or musculoskeletal care preferred.

• Willingness to work two evening shifts per week.

Job description

We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role with an outpatient orthopedics clinic in Frederick, MD. You will help patients move better, feel better, and stay active—whether they are recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions.

• Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or demonstrated interest in musculoskeletal care preferred.
• Ability to provide 30–40 minute treatment sessions with no double booking.
• Willingness to work two evening shifts per week to cover clinic hours.
• Comfort treating patients ages 10 through geriatric. Experience treating vestibular, TMJ, or neuro is optional and accepted if preferred by candidate.
• Dry needling experience or willingness to provide cash-based dry needling services is a plus.
• New graduates and therapists with all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
• No visa sponsorship available at this time.
• Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 (paid half at 90 days and half at 6 months).
• Retention bonus program (example: $3,000 after 3 years; may increase).
• Productivity bonuses paid quarterly with potential earnings based on productivity targets.
• Annual continuing education allowance of $2,500.
• EMR system: TherOffice.
• Full-time defined as 30+ hours. Flexible part-time and 4x10 schedules available. Optional Saturday hours for extra pay.

Role & Caseload:

• Outpatient orthopedics only. Majority of patients are physician referrals within the practice.
• Treat general ortho population ages 10 and up; limited or no neuro, TMJ, or vestibular unless clinician prefers to treat these areas.
• Typical treatment sessions are 30–40 minutes. Evaluations range 30–60 minutes depending on case complexity.
• Clinic provides specialty services and dry needling as cash-based options.
• Therapists will collaborate with PTAs and front office staff. Strong communication is expected.

Clinic Location & Schedule:

• 6 physical therapist openings at the Frederick 161 location.
• Clinic hours 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (last patient). Two evening shifts per week required; evenings may be covered by longer days or half days. Weekends not required. Optional Saturdays available for additional pay.
• Interview process: single interview; in-person preferred, virtual option available. Clinic observation may be arranged post-interview.

• New graduates: salary range indicated for hiring benchmarks. Mid-level and senior ranges provided for experienced hires.
• Productivity and retention incentives available. Exact compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Unstructured new grad mentorship tailored to clinician needs.
• Monthly staff meetings with clinical spotlights and volunteer-led education.
• Two CEU courses hosted annually in Frederick.
• Collaborative environment with long-term staff retention and clinical support.
