Job summary

Tri-State Physical Therapy, a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, seeks a full-time licensed Physical Therapist for our Fox Chapel office. The role focuses on musculoskeletal rehab with a strong orthopaedic emphasis and collaborative care with surgeons.

New grads with solid orthopaedic knowledge and manual skills are welcome; EMR experience is a plus in a busy practice with advanced technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up treatments, and develop a plan of care.
• Communicate progress with physicians to adjust treatment and optimize function.
• Perform skilled evidence-based procedures and document daily notes and progress.
• Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with therapists and physicians to ensure comprehensive rehabilitative care.

Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist to join our well-established and expanding physical therapy Practice in our Fox Chapel office.

Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehab, including physical, occupational and hand therapy services, to ensure quality and comprehensive rehabilitative care for our patients. With a high volume of patient referrals from the orthopaedic surgeons at Tri-State Orthopaedics, our therapists dedicate the majority of their time to patient care, not marketing. Therapists utilize state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to provide each of our patients with an individualized and complete rehabilitation program. This coordination and continuity of care, with close and constant communication among our physicians and therapists, helps to enhance our patients' recovery process.

TSPT has five convenient office locations with spacious gyms and advanced technology used by professional athletes, including Aquatic Therapy, Pilates, IASTM for soft tissue mobilization, and offers a variety of Sports Performance/Injury Prevention services for athletes. We also care for student athletes, injured workers, weekend warriors and our Medicare-aged seniors. TSPT Physical Therapists are responsible for providing the professional duties of a therapist which include, but are not limited to:

• Adhering to a full-time 40-hour weekly work schedule in our Fox Chapel Office.
• Providing physical therapy services, including patient evaluations and follow-up treatment, developing a plan of care and revising, as necessary.
• Assisting in returning patients to an optimum and productive level within the patient's capabilities.
• Consulting with physicians regarding progress and change in treatment and assist physician with evaluating level of function with the goal to achieve maximum function for every patient.
• Performing skilled evidence-based procedures as ordered by the treating physician.
• Preparing daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.
• Instructing patients and family members regarding in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
• Supervising office Therapy Aides and ATCs.
