Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our inpatient post-ICU recovery team. You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, set goals, develop treatment plans, and supervise PT/PTA staff in a busy care setting.

Offering hourly wages of $34-$54, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder—all designed to support your professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervising PTAs, and supervising PT and PTA students.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient responses to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions.
• Completing documentation according to department policies.
• Participating in department, hospital, and community continuing education seminars.

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Regency Hospital - Florence

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Compensation: $34-$54 per hour, depending on years of experience
